Designing the Patient to Doctor Experience
A Fortune 500® company and leading provider of kidney care in the United States asked for help designing their customer facing mobile application.
We started from scratch on this one, designing the iOS, Android and desktop interfaces simultaneously. Starting out with wireframes we were able to define all requirements and functionalities. The biggest issue we ran into while designing this application was the VeSee integration and limitations/ hipaa compliancy with video sharing and healthcare.
The Problem
Once wireframes were completed we started designing the UI. Once we found a look and feel that the client was happy with, we went ahead and used it across all of the platforms (iOS, Android, Desktop). After meeting with the VeSee engineers we were able to find out which specific limitations we had and were happy to find that there weren't too many!
The Solution
In the end, we were able to successfully deliver this project on time and with a consistent look and feel throughout all platforms. This project was a valuable learning experience.
